1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and (for social sign-in) the basic profile provided by Google or Apple.
- Your content: the lists and items you create, item descriptions, and any photos you attach.
- Preferences: your chosen language and notification settings.
- Device information: a push-notification token so we can send you alerts, and basic technical data needed to run the app.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to provide the Service — to store and sync your lists across your devices and with people you share with, to send notifications you enable, to translate item text into your preferred language, and to detect items from the photos you choose to upload.
3. Sharing with others
When you share a list, its contents and the names of contributors are visible to the members of that list. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Third-party services
We use trusted providers to operate the Service, including Google and Apple for sign-in, a cloud translation service for auto-translation, an image-recognition service for photo detection, and Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their function.
5. Data retention and deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and personal data from Settings → Delete Account; we process verified requests and remove your personal data, except where we are required to retain certain records.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
8. Children
Gatherlee is not directed to children under the age required by law in your country, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you.
